Did you know that when you’ve not been able to lie on your front for six weeks, and those six weeks have been an agony of frustration because you love to sleep on your front, you always sleep on your front, you can’t sleep any other way, did you know that after those six weeks have gone and you are finally able to roll over, slowly, gingerly, clumsily, with a groan and a gasp as underused muscles stretch and complain, and allow your weight to be taken completely by the bed, bit by bit, allow your back to lengthen, bone by bone, did you know that it feels like the best thing in the world? Because it does. It feels like the best thing in the world. So I’m going to lie here all day. Smiling.
