Sometimes when one person does something so unbelievably heinous, the only way to respond is to do something nice for someone else.

And then sometimes the someone else sends you a heartfelt thank you via a voice memo of her lovely voice.

This guy did a wonderful thing and rescued over two years’ worth of my blog posts and gave me lots of great advice and made me feel really happy after a terrible couple of weeks. I have no idea how he did that. Magic, I’m guessing. So the least I could do was send him a couple of minutes of me coughing and giggling and rambling in my chest infection-inflected baritone. I mean, who wouldn’t want that?

So my blog is back up. The beginnings of. Sorta. And I’m feeling good.
